Jerry’s Pizza Middletown Pizzeria

Jerry’s Pizza in Middletown opened its doors in 1968 and was the first pizzeria in Middletown to sell pizza by the slice! And since then, it’s only become more famous! Some even say it’s the best pizza in Middletown.

Jerry’s is now located on South Main Street in Middletown after moving from its original Washington Street location in 2008, and still run by the family that opened it.

Of course, Middletown pizza wouldn’t be what is without Jerry’s. Jerry’s has a full menu from appetizers, salads, wraps, calzones, grinders, seafood, and of course many types of pizza including artisan pizzas and even gluten free meals such as gluten free pizza, gluten free ravioli, gluten free chicken parm, and much more on their gluten free Italian menu.

Jerry’s Pizza makes their own pizza dough and pizza sauce and offers free WiFi for their dine-in customers. They don’t serve alcohol, but they allow you to bring your own wine, beer, or other alcoholic beverages to eat with your pizza

Jerry’s Pizza also has pizza delivery and a full catering menu available for Middletown residents and other surrounding towns.

Titanium Bar & Lounge Middletown, CT

Titanium Bar & Lounge, formerly The Firehouse is currently Middletown, CT’s largest lounge and night club and part of the trend to bring back Middletown night life to downtown Middletown. From the front entrance you will enter through the velvet ropes, and greeted by the doorman usually wearing black suits.

Titanium features 2 levels, each with full bars and a wide selection of drinks. There is a dance floor on the upper level with a live DJ usually playing current hits or house music. On the second level there are tables to sit at if you are more in the mood to enjoy a conversational night out. They also have a bar menu offering food at certain times, but you may want to stop at a Middletown restaurant beforehand just in case their kitchen is closed.

Like the nightclubs that you will find in larger cities, Titanium also offers table service where you can reserve a table (for a fee) for the evening with a dedicated waitress and a bottle of your favorite alcohol all to yourselves. On some nights Titanium Bar & Lounge has go-go dancers and shot-girls walking around offering low-priced shots. Titanium’s bathrooms are very clean.

There is plenty of free parking on street or in the parking lot around the back of the club.  A smoking section is also located in front of the club where you can also bring your drinks out with you.

Eli Cannon’s Middletown CT

Eli Cannon’s Tap Room in Middletown opened back in 1994 and is located at the end of Main Street across from O’Rourke’s Diner. You will find a very casual atmosphere at this self proclaimed Irish/English Pub/American Trailer Park Fusion nightlife hotspot which has won 12 Hartford Advocate Readers Choice awards.

They feature 33 real ales on tap, in addition to your normal bar selection of bottles, wines. liquors and tequilas. Eli Cannon’s menu is full of great food with appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and real restaurant food.

Destinta Theater in Middletown is Middletown’s only movie theater. Destinta offers 12 theater rooms that contain stadium style seating which show the current and popular movies that are out and in rotation at theaters across the US.

Lots of free parking and easy to get to makes it a convenient local choice. Grab a bite to eat a nearby restaurant within walking distance, see a movie, then hit one of the local bars for a great night out. Their ticket booth is inside and they do have a small game room and snack bar.
